Hi Jayme,

I really like your blog. I studied with Juliette in Seattle and I believe my ex studio mates Dan and Tracy are studying with you at Janus now. Anyway I just wanted to say I really like your painting " Still life with Gourd " - lovely balance of tone and color along with sense of light. I'm also curious about your thoughts in this posting in regard to Sarah's workshop. Can you explain field effect in more detail and talk about what you learned in relation to cropping by studying with Sarah? Thanks so much, keep up the good work!
